Lee Corso, a well-known college football analyst on ESPN and former head coach, will serve as the guest speaker of the Annual Triangle Classic Banquet in Great Falls. The event begins on April 7 at 6 pm at the Great Falls Civic Center. Individual tickets are on sale for $45, and may be purchased by calling 799-7901 or 788-7993.

Men’s News:
Montana State head coach Mike Phillips couldn’t have crafted a better script on Senior Day. Paced by his four upperclassmen, the Bobcats cruised past Sacramento State 7-0, Saturday afternoon in the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center. With the victory, MSU is 9-9 overall and 3-0 in Big Sky Conference play.
MSU opened the match winning the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and 3. The Bobcats swept all six singles matches in straight sets, as Tejeshwara Chigateri secured the win at No. 4 singles defeating Thomas Morton 6-3, 6-2.
Montana State’s senior class of Federico Ueltschi, Marek Gebicki, Chigateri and Jake Berriochoa are 19-1 in Big Sky action during their tenure at MSU.
Women’s News:
No. 46 ranked Sacramento State posted a 7-0 win over Montana State, Saturday afternoon in the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center. The Hornets captured the opening doubles point, despite MSU’s upset win at No. 3 where Allison Fey and McKenzie Hilmer combined for a 9-8 win over Karina Jarlkaganova and Svetlana Pimenova. In singles action, Sacramento State swept all six matches. MSU almost took a point at No. 2 singles, where Nicole Luetolf took Joyce Martinez Gutierrez to three sets.

4/6-8: at the Weber State Invitational, Ogden, Utah
Montana State lost four of six dual meets at the rain-shorted Al Manual Invitational Saturday which was tainted by the canceling several of MSU's top events. Due to a hail/rain storm, the men's and women's discus, women's triple jump, men's pole vault and the men's and women's 1,600-meter relay were
not completed, costing the Bobcats many point-scoring opportunities.
Five Bobcats won individual events, including Kylee Zent in the women's shot put. She tossed a 44-4.25, leading MSU in a 1-2-3-4-6 finish. Ellie Rudy won the pole vault (13-1.5), and Carrie Gottschalk the 5000 m (17:41.66) on the women's side. Steve Heberly (21.57 in the 200) and Dan Johnson (48.83 in the 400) won MSU's only men's events.
Women’s Golf
Last Week:
3/27-28: placed 12th at Duck Invite at University of Oregon in Creswell, Ore.
Montana State's golf team finished 12th in its final tune-up for the Big Sky Championships April 17-19 at Goodyear, Arizona.
Senior Kristina Kurcinka fired a closing round 77 to pace MSU under difficult course conditions in Creswell, Ore. Kelly Gillum fired an 80, but senior Kylie Anderson withdrew from the competition with a hand injury.

Women’s Basketball
The Montana State women’s basketball program has announced its Help-A-Hooper fundraiser, which will help provide the means to travel on a foreign tour this summer. Bobcat women’s basketball players will be available April 1-2; 22-23; May 20-21; and June 3-4 for hire doing odd jobs, such as window-washing, cleaning, filing, painting, running errands, grocery shopping, etc.
Charge for the service is $15 an hour. Participants may hire up to four student-athletes for no more than five hours. For more information or to reserve a date, contact assistant coach Amy Saneholtz at 994-6260 or via email at asaneholtz@msubobcats.com.
