Henigman Garners Weekly Award

Montana State thrower Josh Henigman, a senior from Bridger, grabbed Big Sky Conference Field Event Athlete of the Week honors for his first outdoor competition of the season, the league office announced Tuesday.
Henigman qualified for the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships with his 196-1 toss in the hammer throw on Saturday at the MSU Invitational. That mark won the meet, and he also won the discus throw. His hammer throw mark is third in the regional standings.
The 2006 Big Sky Conference Indoor Champion in the weight throw, Henigman earned league athlete of the week kudos twice during the indoor season.
