Wallace, who recently completed her second season at the College of Eastern Utah, averaged 10.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game, en route to being named to the 2006 Scenic West Athletic Conference All-Region First-Team.
“Krislyn is a tough competitor with a passion for the game that will feed to everyone around her,” Binford said. “She runs the floor well, and will really help us with depth in the post. Krislyn will be a great forward, which is an area we need improvement.”
At Eastern Utah, Wallace finished fourth in the SWAC in rebounding, eighth in free throw percentage, tenth in scoring and 12th in steals.
She prepped at Fremont High School, where she averaged 14.2 points, 13 rebounds, and 4.3 steals per game as a senior. For her efforts, she was named all-state, all-region and all-area, in addition to being an Ogden Standard Star honoree.
Binford has indicated that the Bobcats will look to sign an additional two or three student-athletes during the spring period.
