Bobcat Men’s Tennis Team Dumps Weber; Wildcats Take Women’s Match

The Weber State women’s team handed the Bobcats a tough 4-3 setback.
In men’s action, the Bobcats cruised to the opening doubles point winning all three spots highlighted by Marek Gebicki and Kyle McDonald’s 8-3 win at No. 1.
In singles play, MSU went without the services of Gebicki at No. 2 singles. The Bobcats bumped their ladder up a spot and claimed a 5-1 advantage. Senior standout Federico Ueltschi notched a straight set 6-2, 6-3 victory over WSU’s Sascha Kiehne.
The MSU women’s team won at No. 1 and 3 doubles to gain the opening point, before dropping a 4-2 decision to the Wildcats in singles action. Recording singles victories for the Bobcats were No. 2 Nicole Luetolf and No. 3 Vera Vasileva.
Both Montana State squads will be at Idaho State on Saturday afternoon.
