Rudy Garners League Honor

Sophomore pole vaulter Ellie Rudy earned her second consecutive Big Sky Women's Field Event Athlete of the Week honor, the Big Sky Conference announced.
Rudy, from Woodland Park, Colo., shares the award with Portland State's Gayle Imran-Sideris, vaulted 13-3.75 last week at Weber State. That is the second-best jump in Big Sky Conference history, and raises her to first in the Big Sky and second in the NCAA Midwest Region. She also won the award last week.
Steve Heberly, a junior from Havre, also won Big Sky weekly honors last week (April 6) for his school-record performance in the 200 m. He is the reigning Big Sky champ in that event.
