Bobcat Duo Posts Historic Weekend in Pocatello

Josh Henigman and Ellie Rudy set Big Sky Conference all-time records in their respective events on Saturday at the Mountain States Games in Pocatello.
Henigman became the first Big Sky Conference student-athlete to throw the 35# weight more than 70', surpassing the NCAA Automatic Qualifying Mark with an astounding toss of 70-6. Saturday's throw was nearly three feet better than his toss of 67-11.75 last weekend, which was a school record.
Rudy's vault of 13-5.5 was also the best mark in conference history. She is safely past the NCAA Provisional mark, and with withing one-and-one-half inches of the automatic mark.
A dozen Bobcats posted lifetime best marks at Idaho State last weekend. Carrie Gottschalk won the 5000, while Ashley Hadway and Elisabeth Driscoll finished 1-2 in the 3000, each posting PRs.
