Bobcats Travel to Cheney

Montana State plays its last regular season road game on Saturday, visiting Eastern Washington for an 8:05 pm MST tipoff. The Bobcats have lost four straight league games, while Eastern is coming off of a 68-46 loss to Montana at home on Thursday. The Grizzlies held Eastern’s sensational guard Rodney Stuckey to 14 points, four rebounds and two assists, while allowing UM to shoot 53% from the field. Guard Ja’Ron Jefferson is expected to remain sidelined with the flu for Saturday’s game, while Marvin Moss also struggles with illness.
BIG SKY RACE: Montana State's fate in the league race changed only a little on Thursday. The 'Cats can no longer finish second, and would need to win both games with Eastern losing Monday at Idaho State for MSU to grab third.
