Bobcats Drop Two in Canyon Country

“The doubles point went down to the wire and we had two singles matches go three sets,” said MSU head coach Denise Albrecht. “I’m happy with the way we competed, but hopefully this will give us a hunger to accomplish more.”
Montana State received its three points at Nos. 1, 3 and 5 singles. Sophomore Nuria Lozano had an impressive 6-2, 7-6 victory over NAU’s Susan McClelland. Also earning wins for the Bobcats were Vera Vasileva and Allison Fey.
MSU dropped a 7-0 decision to No. 14 Arizona State on Friday in Tempe.
