Bobcats Open League Play at EWU on Thursday

Montana State samples the top of the Big Sky this weekend, visiting Eastern Washington, picked near the league’s top in preseason polls, and Portland State, who at 9-4 owns the best non-league record in the conference. Along with Weber State, the Eagles and PSU stand alone among Big Sky squads with records of break-even or better, and the two teams host Montana State and Montana this weekend with combined 11-0 home mark. MSU enters league play at 3-10. Nick Dissly (15.1 points a game) and Ted Morris (8.2 boards) are among the league’s best entering Big Sky action. Eastern Washington's Rodney Stuckey leads the Big Sky with 22.5 points a game against a challenging non-league slate, while teammate Paul Butorac shares the league's rebounding lead at 8.4 a game.
