Montana State and first-year head coach Brad Huse officially open the 2006-07 season on Friday night, visiting Division I Independent Utah Valley State in Orem, Utah. The Wolverines field an unconventional lineup, small and athletic, led by forward David Heck, who scored 49 points in the team’s two exhibition games. Ryan Toolson scored 39 points off the bench. The Bobcats face Brad Huse’s first weekend as MSU’s head coach with an experienced starting lineup and a very youthful bench. Nick Dissly led the Bobcats with 42 points in the team’s two exhibition contests.
