INJURY REPORT: LB Will Claggett suffered a sprained knee, and is essentially lost for the season. WR Deon Toliver (collar bone) is also out for the season. QB Cory Carpenter (ankle) held for placements, and is expected to be available for Montana. Other than that, “The list is long, but everyone should be a go” for Grizzly week, Mike Kramer said.
MEDIA AVAILABILITY THIS WEEK: The only players conducting interviews until the post-game press conference in Missoula are team captains Brant Birkeland (OG), Joe Hirst (OT), Clive Lowe (DE), and Ryan Force (SS). Those four and Mike Kramer are available this week during the noon media lunch on Tuesday, and obtaining as much advance material for the Grizzly game as possible is recommended.

TEAM NOTES
• MSU’s six-game winning streak is the longest at Montana State since the 1984 squad won its last 10 games to win the I-AA National Championship, and it is Mike Kramer’s longest since he led Eastern Washington to the 1997 I-AA semifinals on the strength of an eight-game winning streak (which began, ironically, a week after his Eagles lost in Bozeman)
• Montana State owns five straight winning seasons for the first time since the program ran off nine straight from 1956 to ’64, and six straight winning Big Sky seasons for the first time ever
• Montana State is 4-0 on the road for the first time since 1956, when the Bobcats won all four of their road games and finished 4-0-1 away from home
• In spite of its six-game winning streak, MSU hasn’t won a game by more than a touchdown since topping Portland State 14-0 in Bozeman on October 7
• The Bobcats visit Missoula on November 18 playing for the Big Sky Championship for the fourth time in five seasons
• Evin Groves’ six-yard catch on the first play of the second half on Saturday doubled MSU’s net output on its first offensive play of the third quarter for the season

INDIVIDUAL NOTES/PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINEES
OFFENSE: RB Evin Groves – 5-8, 187, So, San Diego, CA
In his first start since the season-opening win at Colorado, Evin Groves carried 31 times for 120 yards and MSU’s only touchdown in Saturday’s 13-10 win over Northern Colorado. Groves’ yardage and carries each stand as season highs in only his third game of the season, and as the second-best totals in that category in his career. The sophomore also caught three passes for 13 yards. He missed six games due to a knee injury.
OTHER NOTES: After throwing for 300-yards or more in back-to-back games, Jack Rolovich has thrown for just 289 yards in the last two outings combined… after throwing just one interception against Idaho State and none against Weber State, Rolovich was picked off twice by Northern Colorado… Josh Lewis’ 61 receiving yards and seven catches is the most by him since missing three games with a knee injury… Evin Groves rushed for 120 yards, his 100-yard effort of the season after missing seven games with a knee injury… Jack Rolovich is now 4-0 as MSU’s starting quarterback

SPECIAL TEAMS: PK Jeff Hastings – 5-9, 177, Sr, Long Beach, CA
Montana State’s record-setting kicker provided the scoring difference in Saturday’s 13-10 win over Northern Colorado. Hastings opened the scoring with a 32-yarder midway through the second quarter, then nailed a career-long 47-yarder late in the third quarter to give MSU a 13-3 lead. The 47-yard field goal gives Hastings eight in his career, the second-highest total in school history over 40 yards. Hastings is now 7-for-9 on the season.
OTHER NOTES: Jeff Hastings scored seven points Saturday, giving him 124 on his career, 10 points away from MSU’s career top 10 list… Tyler Bolton punted three times for a 49.0 average, including a 59-yarder
