South Dakota State Rallies to Down Bobcat Spikers

The match was the final home game of the year for the Bobcats.
“It was nice to see Kim (Stonehouse) back into the swing of things,” said MSU head coach Miya Malauulu. “The middles also had a nice performance.
“However, we were very inconsistent with our passing and it kept us from running our offense,” Malauulu added.
Stonehouse recorded eight of her kills in the final game. She ended the match hitting .203 from the floor. Also in double-digits for Montana State (7-16) were Angela Wiebe and Raelene Purnell with 14 and 12 kills, respectively.
Defensively, the Bobcats were paced by Kandice Kelly with a match-high 31 digs. Patti Anderson also reached double-figure digs with 14 saves.
South Dakota State (21-9) was paced by Kristina Martin, who recorded 33 digs, a .508 attack mark and 11 digs.
Montana State will travel to Utah Valley State and Weber State this weekend.
