The Jackrabbits are currently on a four-match, six-day western road swing. Last weekend, they dropped matches at Utah Valley State (3-0) and Weber State (3-1). SDSU plays at Montana on Monday night. As an independent, SDSU is 19-9 overall.
Montana State is coming off a weekend split in Big Sky Conference action. The Bobcats completed a season sweep of Northern Arizona with a 3-1 win over the Lumberjacks. MSU dropped a 3-1 decision to Northern Colorado on Saturday. On the season, Montana State is 7-15 overall.
South Dakota State is led by Kristina Martin and Minette Ridenour, who average 3.59 and 3.24 kills, respectively.
The Bobcats have been paced by senior middle blocker Angela Wiebe, who has averaged 3.35 kills and 1.40 blocks per game over the last five matches.
Following it contest with SDSU, the Bobcats will travel to Utah Valley State and Weber State this weekend.
