Grizzlies Shut Down Bobcat Spike Attack

Montana State’s (6-12, 2-7) starting outside hitters combined to hit .000 on the evening.
Conversely, Montana’s (8-10, 5-4) middle blockers combined for 21 kills, a .606 attack mark and nine blocks.
One bright spot for the Bobcats was the play of the setters. Senior Kami Buettner had a career outing for MSU recording six kills, a .385 attack mark, 15 assists and seven blocks. Junior transfer Sarah Allen chipped in 18 assists and two digs.
MSU middle blocker Angela Wiebe paced the Bobcats with a team-high 10 kills, while adding six blocks. Defensively, the Bobcats were led by Patti Anderson with ten digs.
Montana was led by Claudia Houle with 23 kills and 11 digs.
MSU will travel to Sacramento State and Idaho State next weekend.
