Huse Era Begins Friday

Bobcat fans don't have to wait long to see the 2006-07 edition of the Montana State men's basketball team. Neither does the program's head coach.
Brad Huse, who took the reins of the Bobcat program last spring, presides over his team's first official practice on Friday, October 13, at 7 pm in Worthington Arena, the first moment allowable by the NCAA. The former Bobcat assistant coach and long-time Jamestown College head coach likes what he saw from his team during preseason individual workouts.
"We've been able to get some of the acclimatization out of the way during individual workouts," he said. "I appreciate the leadership the four veterans are showing. We should be able to get right into drills and learning the offensive and defensive systems because of the work we did in September and early October."
The Bobcats also practice on Saturday, October 14, at 4 pm, and Sunday, October 15, at 12:30 pm in Worthington Arena.
