Bobcat Women’s Tennis Team Zips Zags; Men Fall to New Mexico

Montana State (4-3) captured the opening point of the match, winning at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles. The Bobcats secured the match winning the first three singles spots, sparked by a 6-0, 6-0 win by Vera Vasileva at No. 3.
“We had a very solid weekend and accomplished our goals,” said MSU women’s coach Denise Albrecht. “We wanted to get to every ball, hustle and get use to being at home. We need a little work in doubles; but overall I thought we had a super weekend.”
The MSU men’s tennis team finished its Arizona road swing losing to New Mexico 5-2 in Tucson. Federico Ueltschi and Kyle McDonald posted singles victories for the Bobcats.
