Bobcats Garner Track Honors

A pair of Montana State track and field competitors earned Big Sky Athlete of the Week honors, the league announced on Wednesday.
Freshman pole vaulter Ellie Rudy and senior thrower Josh Henigman became MSU's second and third honorees of the winter. Rudy broke the Worthington Arena record last week, vaulting 13-0.25, the third-highest vault in Big Sky history. Henifman, from Bridger, won the 35-lb weight throw with a toss of 65-6.75, reaching the NCAA Provisonal Qualifying mark. Henigman's throw, a school record, was the second-best toss in Big Sky history.
MSU hosts Weber State and Montana on Friday night in Worthington Arena.
