Bobcats Hope to Paint it Blue Saturday

Montana State University is hoping to paint the fieldhouse blue on Saturday January 28th.
The university urges all students, alumni, supporters and boosters to wear blue to the basketball game against Portland State, scheduled at 7:05 p.m. January 28, for its "Paint it Blue at MSU" event.
Limited edition Paint it Blue T-shirts will be available for purchase for $9.99 at Universal Athletic Service's stores in Bozeman, Billings and Great Falls.
"We want fans to show their Bobcat spirit," said Julie Kipfer, MSU's director of marketing as well as the MSU licensing office. "Painting the fieldhouse blue brings the crowd into the game and energizes the team." Kipfer's offices sponsor the event. The Collegiate Licensing Company and Universal Athletic Service also are sponsors.
"Blue is cool," Kipfer said. "We want to start a tradition by encouraging fans to Paint it Blue for every home game."
