Bobcat Women’s Tennis Team Posts First Victory

Sophomore Nicole Luetolf paced the Bobcats with at 6-0, 6-0 straight set victory over Erin Moakler at No. 1 singles. MSU opened the match earning the doubles point, sweeping all three matches.
“It was a nice win to end a very tough weekend,” said MSU women’s coach Denise Albrecht, referring to matches against No. 8 Vanderbilt and Michigan State. “I thought our kids played tough in every match and it was a super start to the season.”
MSU dropped identical 7-0 decisions to Vanderbilt and Michigan State.
Montana State (2-2) will host Wyoming, Jan. 27 in the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center.
