The Pioneers had their best outing in the 10-kilometer men's classic ski race, notching 80 points, behind John Stenne's individual title. Stenne covered the course in 31:50.73.
DU teammate Rene Reisshauer placed third overall in a clocking of 32:32.50
Montana State was led in the race by Tim Downey, who placed 26th in a time of 36:03.21.
In the women's five-kilometer race, DU's Anna-Karin Maeki won the event in a time of 18:11.45.
MSU's top finisher was Ine Fahle, who placed 20th in a clocking of 20:21.69.
The Bobcats had its best outing in the women's giant slalom race where Spela Bertoncelj and ChiChi Williams finished in the top ten.
Bertoncelj notched a two-run time of 2:00.93 to place fourth, while Williams was ninth in a time of 2:02.20.
Colorado's Lucie Zikova won the women's GS in a clocking of 1:59.13.
In the men's giant slalom, New Mexico's Petter Roering led the way with a two-run best 1:57.05.
MSU's top finisher was Tyler Smedsrud, who placed 16th in a time of 1:59.17.
