With Saturday's Montana State-Stephen F. Austin game approaching a sellout, Montana State officials are encouraging fans to arrive early and anticipate traffic flow patterns accommodating the large crowd.
Game day festivities transforms Kagy Boulevard into Bobcat Boulevard in front of the Stadium between 7th and 11th streets, closing that section of Kagy to traffic from 8 am to approximately 5 pm on Saturdays of home Bobcat games. Use of alternate routes is encouraged, although traffic is detoured through campus, as well.
The extension of 11th Street south of Kagy has created two entrances into Bobcat Stadium's Booster Parking Lot. Those using that lot should look for signs directing traffic.
Kickoff for MSU's home opener Saturday is 1 pm. Record season ticket sales and brisk single-game sales assures a crowd of 12,000, and a sellout of over 13,000 is possible, MSU Athletic Ticket Manager Dusty Kurtz said on Thursday.
