Montana State opens the 2005 football season the way it has the three before it -- ranked in The Sports Network's I-AA Top 25.
Two of MSU's three non-league foes also cracked the preseason poll, with Cal Poly sitting at 17th and North Dakota State at 22nd. Big Sky entries Montana (third) and Eastern Washington (fourth) each sit in the top five, while Northern Arizona and Portland State also received votes, but sit outside the top 25.
