Utah Standout to Play for Montana State Women’s Basketball Squad

Garcia averaged 13.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists and two blocks to pace Mountain View High School to a No. 1 ranking in the Utah 4A ranks, last winter. For her efforts, she garnered 4A second-team all-state accolades.
“Nubia will bring a lot of athleticism to our team,” Binford said. “She is very quick and can play both inside and out on the perimeter. We believe she possesses a huge upside and she is a great fit for our program.”
Garcia helped pace the Bruins to a 20-3 overall record and an 8-0 mark in Region 7. She guided Mountain View to the 4A state tournament quarterfinals, averaging 11 points per outing.
