Erin Naipo Named Montana State Assistant Volleyball Coach

“Erin is the perfect fit for our program,” Malauulu said. “She is a very loyal individual and her commitment to excellence is going to help our program in its pursuit to win a Big Sky Conference championship. Erin is a bright young lady with a bright future ahead of her in the sport. I am ecstatic to have her on board.”
Naipo, who served as recruiting coordinator and academic advisor at CCS, helped coach the team to the 2003 Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges championship. In addition, she was part of the coaching staff that captured the 2002 and 2004 Eastern Region title.
A 2002 graduate of Dartmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Naipo played four seasons for the Big Green and was team captain her senior season.
A Spokane native, Naipo prepped at Lewis and Clark High School, where she was an all-state and all-league selection. In addition, she competed for the Spokane Splash/Adidas Volleyball Club, where she was mentored by legendary CCS head coach Irene Matlock as well as former Eastern Washington and Montana State head coach Pam Parks.
At Montana State, she will run the Bobcat volleyball camps, serve as tournament director for the MSU-Holiday Inn Classic, and will hold responsibilities in recruiting, tape exchange, and practice and match strategies.
Naipo will begin her duties at MSU on July 1.
