Ruoff Joins MSU Staff

Dani Ruoff, Assistant Director for Marketing and Development and head cheer coach at MSU-Billings, has joined the Montana State University-Bozeman staff as Spirit Squad Coach and Director of Ticket Sales and Promotions.
"Dani has a wide range of experience and is well-respected by those she works with," says MSU Athletic Director Peter Fields. "We're excited that she is joining our staff. She will be an asset to our Department in a number of ways."
A 1990 Eastern Montana College (now MSU-Billings) graduate, Ruoff was a varsity Yellowjacket cheerleader, earning invitations to cheer for the Los Angeles Lakers in an exhibition game, in the 1988 Hula Bowl, and in the 1994 Freedom Bowl. Ruoff coached her alma mater's cheer squad from 1993-95, and since 1997. She conducts camps and clinics and handles marketing duties as assigned, and has helped coordinate cheerleaders of Montana's East-West Shrine Game. MSU-Billings finished in first place at the West Coast Open Nationals in Irvine, Calif., in March.
The Shepherd native has also worked in marketing at MSU-Billings, which will be an important component of her job with the Bobcats. "Dani will be responsible for coordinating our event promotions and for helping to spark ticket sales," Fields said. "Her background qualifies her for this role within our department."
