Bobcat Women Come Up Short

It was an epic battle.
Unfortunately, the Bobcats came out on the wrong end of a 4-3 decision to Weber State in the semifinals of the Big Sky Conference tournament, ending its season at 12-12.
A week earlier, MSU had dropped a 6-1 loss to Weber State in its regular-season finale.
"We're drained, but I couldn't be more proud of the way the kids battled," said MSU women's coach Denise Albrecht. "We really finished the last month on such a good note, and we'll use that as a spring board for next season."
