“We continue to fight and get one more ball than our opponent,” said MSU women’s coach Denise Albrecht. “We’re taking one match at a time and it’s great to see our confidence getting stronger. We’re peaking at the right time.”
Montana State (11-11, 4-1), which has won six of its last seven matches, defeated Northern Arizona for the first time under the direction of Albrecht.
The Lumberjacks claimed the doubles point, before MSU stormed back winning four of six singles matches.
