Bobcats Second After One Round

Montana State's 'home course' provided some welcome relief for the Bobcat golf team on Monday, as MSU posted a first-round 301 to stand in second place after 18 holes of the 54-hole event.
All five Bobcats shot in the 70s, with freshman Kelly Gillum leading the way with an even-par 72. The Bobcats trail only defending champion Portland State, which fired a +1 289. Kylie Anderson of Great Falls shot a +1 73, her best round of the year.
