Bobcats on the Prowl in the Desert

Kylie Anderson fired a team-low 73 and all five Bobcats fired rounds in the 70s as Montana State roared into third place at the Bobcat Desert Classic in Goodyear, Ariz., on Tuesday.
Anderson is currently tied for second in the 19-team tournament. Kelly Gillum and Erica Leslie each fired rounds of 74 on Tuesday, Kristina Kurcinka shot a 75, and Stephanie Simmons checked in at 79.
"This team has worked hard so far this spring and it has really started to show this week," said MSU coach Brittany Basye. "We hit the ball with much more consistency today, and it showed with all of our players shooting below 80."
The tournament concludes with the third and final round Wednesday.
