MSU Thrower Earns Big Sky Honor

Montana State junior thrower Josh Henigman opened the outdoor track and field season with a bang last weekend, and Tuesday the Big Sky Conference honored him for his effort.
Henigman, from Bridger, qualified for the NCAA Regional Championships in the discus and hammer throw at the Stanford Invitational Saturday. His 173-7 throw in the discus moves him to the top of the Big Sky list in that event, while he is second in the hammer (197-9).
Riley Cook and Lindsey Anderson of Weber State and Mackenzie Winkle of Portland State were other weekly winners. MSU travels to the Al Manuel Dual Meet Invitational in Missoula this weekend.
