Bobcat Women’s Tennis Team Drops Narrow Decision to UC Davis

Montana State (2-4) won the opening doubles point as MSU’s No. 3 tandem of Vera Vasileva and Remy Clark combined for an 8-6 win over UC Davis’ Ashley Lehman and Amanda Wise.
The Aggies then claimed four of six singles matches to secure the victory. The match was decided at No. 6 singles, where Wise posted a 7-5-6-4 win over Anna Hockett.
Earning singles match victories for the Bobcats were No. 2 Nicole Luetolf and No. 4 Remy Clark.
“It was a great match and it came down to No. 6 singles,” said MSU women’s coach Denise Albrecht. “Anna played a super match, but came up a little short. We’re a young team, and this will only add to our experience.”
Montana State dropped a 5-2 decision to San Francisco on Thursday.
The Bobcats will face Sacramento State and Pacific on Saturday.
