Bobcat Women Host Northern Arizona and Sacramento State

MSU will conclude its three-game homestand against Sacramento State on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 7:05 p.m.
On The Air:
For the third straight season Dave Cowan will handle play-by-play duties of all regular and postseason Bobcat games on 103.5 KZMY-FM. Cowan will begin his broadcast with a pre-game show 20-minutes prior to tip-off.
There’s No Place Like Home:
Montana State is in the midst of a three-game homestand, its longest stretch since playing seven at home in December. The Bobcats are 6-4 on its home hardwood this season. MSU’s last victory in Worthington Arena came on Jan. 29 with a 75-57 win over Portland State.

Montana State owns 27-11 advantage in its all-time series against Northern Arizona; however, the Lumberjacks have claimed two-of-the-last-three regular season contests between the two schools...MSU is 14-4 all-time against Sacramento State...The last time the two teams met, the Hornets beat the Bobcats in overtime...Montana State has played four overtime games (1-3) this winter, which is the most in school history for a single season.

Northern Arizona enters Thursday’s game with a 14-8 overall mark and a 5-4 Big Sky Conference slate. The Lumberjacks handed MSU an 86-60 setback on Jan. 22 in Flagstaff. The ‘Cats played the game without Jaimey Tanner. NAU has been paced this season by sophomore Alyssa Wahl, who is averaging 14.6 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. The Lumberjacks are also welcoming the return of transfer Nicky Eason, who missed a couple of games to a shoulder injury. Eason averages 11.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per outing.
Montana State Player of the Week:
Senior Kati Burrows was named Montana State’s Player of the Week for her effort against Montana, last Saturday night. Burrows, a 5-foot-10 forward from Bozeman, recorded a team-high 13 points, while adding seven rebounds, four assists and two steals. She also went six-of-nine from the field, shooting at a 67 percent clip.
