Women Hoopsters Host Wingate Classic

The 411:
The Montana State women’s basketball team will host the Wingate Inn Classic this weekend in the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. The Classic will tipoff on Friday, Nov. 25 at 5 p.m., when future Big Sky Conference member Northern Colorado faces Marquette, followed by Boise State and Montana State at approximately 7:30 p.m. The consolation game will be played on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 5 p.m., followed by the Wingate Inn Classic championship game.
On The Air:
All Bobcat games can be heard on 103.5 KZMY-FM. Veteran sportscaster Mark Martello will handle play-by-play duties this season. Martello will begin his broadcast with the pregame show beginning 20-minutes prior to tip.

Binford, who played as Tricia Bader, was a three-time all-Big Sky Conference selection for Boise State. Bader graduated from BSU with a degree in criminal justice in 1995. She was inducted into the Bronco Hall of Fame in 2001...The Bobcats have hosted ten previous Thanksgiving tournaments throughout its history, with this weekend’s Classic the first sponsored by the Wingate Inn...Montana State is 24-22 all-time against Boise State, while also holding a 1-0 advantage over Northern Colorado and 1-0 lead over Marquette...Last year’s Montana State squad finished ninth in the nation in grade-point average, with a cumulative 3.39 gpa.
