Montana State coach Mike Kramer further cemented his place as one of the Big Sky Conference's all-time great coaches on Tuesday, as the league honored him as its Co-Coach of the Year. Kramer shares the award with Eastern Washington's Paul Wulff.
The award is the third each for Kramer and Wulff, moving the long-time friends into legendary company in Big Sky history. They become the fifth and sixth coaches in league history to earn coach-of-the-year honors, joining Montana's Don Read and MSU's Jim Sweeney, who each won three, and right behind four-time honorees Chris Ault of Nevada and Tony Knap of Boise State.
Kramer is third in Big Sky history in overall wins and conference wins. He is the only man to lead two Big Sky schools to league titles, and to win top coach kudos at two conference schools.
