MSU Volleyball: Sac State ends Bobcats' season

MSU fell behind early in every game and had one of its worst hitting matches of the season, losing 30-19, 30-19, 30-18.
“It wasn't pretty at all,” Bobcats coach Miya Malauulu said. “I'm sad for our seniors more than anything, because we weren't able to compete and get to the championship match.”
Meggie Malyurek and Kim Stonehouse paced the ‘Cats with seven kills each, For the match MSU hit a paltry .014 percent.
“There wasn't one thing that we could peg it on,” Malauulu said. “It was definitely a learning experience. It's too bad we had to learn during the senior years of Meggie Malyurek and Megan Zanto.”
Zanto had six kills in her final match. Malyurek also had 14 digs.
The Hornets advance to tonight's championship match against Eastern Washington, which defeated Portland State 3-1.
