INJURY REPORT: The ‘Cats incurred no injuries of note last week against Weber. This week, LB Mac Mollohan (hip), LB Clive Lowe (ankle), DL Chris Kolone (leg), and CB Chris Davis (knee) all remain doubtful. Mollohan was believed to be close to ready late last week, but didn’t suit up Saturday.

TEAM NOTES
• Montana State snapped a four-game road losing streak by winning at Weber State last weekend
• MSU has won two straight games against ranked opponents, beating nationally-ranked foes in consecutive weeks (NDSU and Idaho State) for only the fourth time in school history (2005, ‘02, 1995, ’78)
• Mike Kramer is the only MSU coach to beat ranked opponents in consecutive games twice in his Bobcat career
• The Bobcats have allowed three defensive scores this year, but added a new twist to end zone turnovers at Weber State by turning the ball over once in the Wildcat end zone and once three yards from paydirt
• Montana State scored a defensive touchdown when Daryl Rogers recovered an Ian Pizarro fumble forced by Bobby Daly in the end zone for the team’s first Bobcat points of the day
• After intercepting only 10 passes last season, the Bobcat defense has picked off seven opponent passes in the first six games of 2005
• Montana State forced two Idaho State turnovers while coughing the ball up only once, the only time this season the ‘Cats have finished a game positive in turnover margin
• Montana State has allowed 84 first-half points this season, but only 44 points after intermission
• In spite of allowing an average of only 7.3 per second half this season, the ‘Cats have been outscored in four of the team’s six second halves

INDIVIDUAL NOTES/PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINEES
OFFENSE: QB Travis Lulay, 6-2, 205, Sr, Aumsville, OR
Montana State’s All-America quarterback threw for 283 yards and rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns, leading Montana State to a 27-24 come-from-behind win in the fourth quarter at Weber State Saturday. Lulay scored the two fourth-quarter touchdowns that erased Weber’s 24-10 lead, and his 19-yard pass to Tramaine Murray on the only play after a Toph Grenfell interception set up Jeff Hastings’ game-winning field goal. Lulay made the game’s signature play with the Bobcats facing a fourth-and-seven from the Weber 31 early in the fourth quarter and MSU trailing 24-10. He scampered 31 yards for a touchdown, cutting the Weber State lead in half. On MSU’s next possession, he ran for a 23-yard gain and threw for a 38-yarder, setting up his one-yard touchdown to tie the game. Lulay’s 425-yard total offense day vaulted him into 12th place on the Division I-AA career list, and into sixth in Big Sky history. Lulay also punted four times for a 44.0-yard per punt average, pinning Weber inside the 20 twice, and converted one fourth-down pass out of punt formation for a first down on a drive that resulted in a field goal. OTHER NOTES: Tramaine Murray caught seven passes for 199 yards Saturday, his third 100-yard game as a Bobcat… Evin Groves gained 22 yards rushing, his career high.
DEFENSE: SS Ryan Force, 6-2, 207, Jr, Lake Oswego, OR
Ryan Force registered a career-high 15 tackles, including five solos, in MSU’s win over Weber State. He also recorded 1.5 tackles for a loss. OTHER NOTES: Andre Fuller and Toph Grenfell each picked off their second passes of the season on Saturday, Fuller’s setting up the tying touchdown and Grenfell’s interception and return setting up the game-winning field goal… seven different Bobcats were in on tackles-for-loss Saturday, led by Ryan Force and Bobby Daly with 1.5 each… Daly, who intercepted a pass in his linebacker debut earlier this year, registered a sack and caused the fumble that Daryl Rogers recovered for a touchdown early in the game… Grenfell had MSU’s other sack, a spectacular airborne effort in which he hurtled his body over a Wildcat blocker to bring down Pizarro
SPECIAL TEAMS: K Jeff Hastings, 5-9, 180, Jr, Long Beach, CA
Jeff Hastings nailed two field goals, one in the last minute of the first half and the other as time expired in the fourth quarter, to help Montana State to its 27-24 win at Weber State Saturday. Hastings’ walk-off effort was his latest in a game this season, and was the first he was asked to kick in a close fourth quarter this year. Hastings is 8-for-10 on field goal tries this year after the Bobcats converted 12 of their 25 attempts last year. OTHER NOTES: Travis Lulay punted four times for a 44.0-yard average, netting 42.0 yards on those four punts… two of Lulay’s four punts pinned Weber State inside the 20, and in fact both those pinned the Wildcats inside their own 10
