Kurcinka Leads Cats in Colorado

Kristina Kurcinka fired a two-round 154 (77-77) to lead Montana State into 14th place after the first two rounds of the University of Colorado's Heather Farr Memorial on Monday.
Kylie Anderson shot a 155, Kelly Gillum 159, Stephanie Simmons 163 and LaRae Smith 169. In the day's top individual highlight, Kurcinka fired an eagle on a par five.
"Kristina really played well, and Kylie put together two good rounds," said MSU coach Brittany Basye. "We need to get our fourth player in the 70s to really get us where I know we can be."
Play concludes Tuesday with 18 holes.
