Defensively, the Bobcats were led by Stonehouse with 14 digs, while Malyurek added 11. MSU was led at the net by Megan Zanto with four blocks.
NDSU was paced by Kim Hebl with 11 kills, while Kari Fagnan added a match-high 15 digs.
Montana State will play at Portland State on Friday.
