Tonight’s Game
Montana State snapped a seven-game road losing streak last time out, beating Weber State 76-67 in Ogden. The Wildcats used a torrid start to the second half to claim a five-point lead with 10 minutes to play, but back-to-back three-pointers by Branden Miller and a triple by Marvin Moss gave MSU control of the game. The Bobcats closed the game on a 30-16 run. MSU shot 50%, only the fourth time this season the team has made half its shots, and turned the ball over a season-low eight times.

Montana State owns a 98-76 lead in the all-time series with Idaho State, but trail 49-41 in games played in Pocatello. The ‘Cats are 1-1 since ISU moved back into Reed Gym in 2002-03, but are only 6-26 in the current reincarnation of Reed Gym, which was built in 1951. From 1951 until the Bengals moved into Holt Arena, the Bobcats were 5-25 at Idaho State.

The Bobcats have won four straight home games, but Thursday’s win at Weber State snapped a seven-game road losing streak… MSU has started league play with a league road win for the second straight year, and are looking for a 2-0 league start with both games on the road in the past four years… the ‘Cats have hit at least five threes in every game this season… the Bobcats are looking for their second straight win at Idaho State, and their fourth in the last five years.
