Bobcat Women Hit Program Low

Montana State (6-7) managed just ten points in the second stanza, shooting 15 percent from the field. For the game, the Bobcats were 10-of-50 from the floor and two-of-22 from three-point range.
Utah Valley State (2-12) didn’t fair much better, shooting 29 percent from the field and nine percent from long distance. However, the Wolverines held a commanding 48-28 advantage on the boards.
The game was tied at 18-all at intermission. UVSC pulled away from a one-point second-half advantage with a 9-0 run to take a 32-22 lead with 10:35 remaining. MSU hit only two field-goals in the final ten minutes, with its last bucket coming on a Briana Fields jumper at the 6:50 mark.
“We’ll be doing a lot of shooting drills before our next game,” said MSU head coach Greg Kudrna. “We got a lot of good looks, but couldn’t knock anything down. We’re good shooters that are in a team slump.”
Kati Burrows and Katie Proietti paced the Bobcats with six points, each. Burrows led MSU under the boards with seven rebounds.
