The Bobcats will host league-leading Eastern Washington University, Thursday, Jan. 27 at 7:05 p.m. MSU will conclude its brief homestand against Portland State University, Saturday, Jan. 29 at 7:05 p.m.
On The Air:
For the third straight season Dave Cowan will handle play-by-play duties of all regular and postseason Bobcat games on 103.5 KZMY-FM. Cowan will begin his broadcast with a pre-game show 20-minutes prior to tip-off.
There’s No Place Like Home:
Montana State has been away from Worthington Arena for 38 days. MSU hosted Texas State (W 68-52) on Dec. 20, 2004, and have not played at home since. During that span on the road, the Bobcats have dropped seven straight games, including a pair of ovetime thrillers.

Montana State is 31-24 all-time against Eastern Washington in a series dating back to the 1975-76 season...Last year, the two teams split their meetings, each winning on their home hardwood...The Bobcats are 20-11 all-time against Portland State...Last season, Montana State won both meetings...MSU has won six straight over the Vikings.

Eastern Washington is the hottest team in the Big Sky. EWU is riding a four-game winning streak, three of which have come in league play. The Eagles are 11-5 overall and 3-0 in Big Sky action. This season, EWU is paced by Felice Moore. Moore, who is this week’s Big Sky Player of the Week, is averaging 11.9 points and 5.6 rebounds, while shooting a Big Sky best 57 percent.
Montana State Player of the Week:
Bobcat senior Kati Burrows had the most dominating weekend in the Big Sky Conference, last week. The 5-foot-10 native of Bozeman, averaged 27 points and 6.5 rebounds, while shooting a blistering 69 percent (20-29) from the field. Against Sacramento State, she played only four minutes in the first half due to foul trouble. She scored all 26 points against the Hornets in the second stanza. Burrows notched 28 points against Northern Arizona on Saturday. She also chipped in six rebounds and two steals against the Lumberjacks.
