Northern Arizona Women Chop Down Bobcats

Northern Arizona (11-6, 2-2) had three players reach double figures in scoring, led by Alyssa Wahl 23, Megan Rice 20, and Kim Winkfield 14. In addition, Rice added a game-high ten rebounds, while Winkfield dished out a career-high ten assists.
Burrows paced Montana State (6-10, 0-3) converting ten-of-15 from the field, while going seven-of-12 from the free throw line. The Bozeman native also paced the Bobcats under the boards with five rebounds.
For the game, MSU shot 40 percent from the field, but couldn’t stymie a red-hot Northern Arizona squad that shot 58 percent from the field and 96 percent (21-22) from the charity stripe. NAU also held a 34-23 advantage in rebounding.
MSU played without the services of three-point sharp-shooter Jaimey Tanner for the second consecutive game due to a concussion.
The Bobcats will return home for the first time in 38 days when they host Eastern Washington next Thursday.
