All-Conference Quartet Elected Track Captains

Montana State's track and field squad has appointed four former All-Big Sky athletes team captains for the 2005 season, MSU coach Dale Kennedy announced on Thursday.
All four captain-elects hail from Montana. Thrower Josh Henigman, distance runner Casey Jermyn, jumper Erin Jones and thrower Megan Lee will serve as captains throughout the 2005 indoor and outdoor seasons, and Kennedy lauded the four. "These four kids will be really great representatives of our program. They are kids that have shown tremendous leadership qualities within our program, and I feel very good about these choices."
Henigman, a senior from Bridger, has earned All-Big Sky honors in the weight throw and the discus. Jermyn, a senior from Plains, is a Big Sky cross country and 10,000 m champion. Jones, a junior from Harlowton, was the league's first-ever pentathlon champion last spring, and Lee, a junior from Choteau, has also earned all-conference honors.
Montana State's season begins next Friday, January 21, with the MSU Open.
