Jermyn and Driscoll Named Big Sky Runners of the Week

Jermyn, a senior from Plains, garnered the weekly award after finishing first at the MSU Invite, and setting a new five-mile course record with a time of 24:26.31. The old mark of 24:31.0 was set by former Bobcat All-America Lyle Weese in 2002. Jermyn also finished over 15-seconds ahead of the nearest runner and 45-seconds ahead of the nearest Big Sky opponent.
Running in her first-ever collegiate race, Elisabeth Driscoll (Bozeman) finished fifth overall at the MSU Invitational, covering the three-mile course in a time of 17:42.74. Driscoll led the Bobcats to a third place finish and three dual victories. She also defeated all Big Sky opponents, including runners from Weber State, Montana and Idaho State.
