Cat Gridders to Visit Oklahoma State, Colorado

Montana State's upcoming football schedules will have a Big 12 flavor, Bobcat Athletic Director Peter Fields said Tuesday.
Montana State will visit Oklahoma State on Sept. 3, 2005, and will face Colorado in Boulder on Sept. 2, 2006, Fields said. He indicated that the 2005 slate is nearly set, with non-conference games against Stephen F. Austin in Bozeman and Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo scheduled.
"Colorado has never played a Division I-AA program, and Oklahoma State typically plays high-caliber programs from our Division," Fields said. "I think it's indicative of the level of respect Montana State football has earned in recent years and programs at the highest level are willing to play us."
Montana State beat the Buffs 12-6 at Bozeman in 1927, the last meeting between the two schools, and are 2-1 against their former Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference rivals. The 'Cats have never played Oklahoma State.
