Lulay Earns National Honor

Don Hansen's Football Gazette named Montana State junior Travis Lulay the I-AA Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday.
Lulay, Montana State's quarterback and punter, averaged 48.3 yards on six punts in MSU's season opener against Adams State on Saturday, and nailed punts of 81 and 60 yards. He also completed a 15-yard pass on fourth down out of punt formation to keep Montana State's second touchdown drive alive.
Lulay, who became MSU's punter mid-way through his sophomore season, also nailed Adams State inside the 20 once.
