Cooper Featured at West Coast Draft Site

The 2000 season was a tough one for linebacker Roger Cooper and the rest of the Montana State football team. An 0-11 season can't be described any other way.
"It wasn't that we weren't working hard, we just weren't winning," said Cooper.
But a funny thing happened on the way to slipping into a perennial doormat. The Bobcats started turning all of their hard work in practice into wins on the gridiron, turning in a 5-6 season in 2001 and winning the Big Sky Conference each of the past two seasons.
Much of the credit certainly goes to head coach Mike Kramer and his staff. But this isn't a club just built around sound technique and discipline, the Bobcats are a club with legitimate NFL talent, as well.
