The early returns have been positive regarding transfer cornerback Martin Henderson. “So far, Martin has shown a lot of athletic ability,” said MSU secondary coach Brock Berryhill. “The biggest obstacle he has to overcome is the mental aspect. He has to pick up what we’re doing.”
Berryhill said that Henderson’s ability, and his background, will allow him to catch up quickly. “Fresno State does a lot of similar stuff to what we do, so the language is not totally new.” Kramer indicated that Henderson is likely the final new player to join the Bobcat program this season.

Mike Kramer praised the play of freshman receiver Toby Rundle on Monday. “Toby Rundle is really taking advantage of injuries and sickness to show what he can do,” Kramer said. “It wouldn’t surprise me if he pushes for playing time this year. He gives great effort on every play.”
