POSITION PONDERINGS: Offensive Line

Much of the focus during fall camp will be on MSU’s offensive line, particularly the tackle positoins. While Kramer and his staff have kept an eye trained there, a thorough evaluation won’t be made until the weekend, when the team dons pads. One thing Kramer will say, though, is that he likes how MSU’s o-line looks. “It’s prettier,” MSU’s fifth-year head coach says with a laugh. “(Peder) Jensen is bigger, Brant (Birkeland) is a little bigger, Zack (Wolf) had a good summer. The guys in the front can lift a lot of weight, and that’s a good start.” Kramer is hedging all bets until contact begins, though. “Until I see them in the gear, I won’t know much.”
