Five Join Big Sky Crowd

Two Bobcats hit Big Sky Conference qualifying marks on Friday at the Tom Gage Classic in Missoula, while hammer thrower Mary Jo Kraft qualified for the NCAA Regional Championships.
Kraft's hammer toss off 177-8 qualified her for the NCAA Midwest Regionals at Texas A&M in two weeks. Lynn Craver won the discus, while Leslie Baldus hit a season's best mark in the 400. Both appear headed for the Big Sky meet by moving into the top 14 of the league standings in their events.
Tony Bachmann hit a Big Sky mark in the 5,000, while Blake Corneliusen hit the Big Sky mark and a personal best in the shot put (50-0.75).
MSU competes at the Big Sky Championships next weekend.
